My name is Daisie Auty (she/her). I’m a registered social worker, psychotherapist and crusader against (toxic) shame and blame.

Individual psychotherapy

 I help people understand and transform the root causes of their problems. I specialize in working with chronic shame.

  • Difficulties in relationships: family, romantic, friendships or professional

  • Relationship anxiety or difficulties with too much or too little emotional closeness

relationship counselling (for individuals)

Living with a partner or within a family often brings up challenges. If you're experiencing conflict and/or distancing in a significant relationship exploring your situation in counselling can be helpful.   I often see individuals who are experiencing problems with a family member; it is sometimes surprising how much therapy can help even if the other person is not participating in the session. I am LGBTQ+/queer positive.
